Obviously, it was time consuming and most doubted this would ever be a useful tool. Then, automatic card read was finally developed and now it supports almost every online card room there is.

Since then, it has added even more features and continues to grow as a great Poker Program. After you fold your hand it keeps your hand frozen and plays out the hand as if you 'would' have called. Which is extremely interesting and using this feature demonstrates with accuracy 70-90% of the time what Calculatem suggests is the correct move.

The one thing this program could negatively affect is your betting skills. Obviously, this is something you must develop on your own and especially playing no-limit one doesn't want to overshoot a hand they are obvious to win. Now, with that being said -- take Calculatem's advice with a grain of salt.

This program continues to be the most valuable online odds calculator you can use today. If you don't have it, download it right now. And, I can say with confidence that you will most likely be a return customer and purchase this product!

Another program that has come a long way from its first version is Poker Office. This hand tracking utility watches your & your opponents play for patterns and weaknesses. It's fairly obvious that a machine tracking you over time will notice this and be able to hash out advice upon how you can improve your game.

Poker Office then interprets this information and, in a live game can give you advice using both odds calculations and the statistics to suggest what action to take (screenshot). I'd say an estimated 8/10-9/10 times it gives you the correct advice.

However, once again take the advice with a grain of salt. It's only a computer and in order to win your hands you must think like a human!

One area in which Poker Office has really helped my game a lot is Tournaments. Through tracking my tournament play I learned several key mistakes I was making and quickly fixed them. I find myself finishing at least 10places higher (if not the top 20) in most 200+ entry tournaments now.

Bottom line, dollar for dollar, is this program worth the money? Tips For Poker says, YES!

In that 4 Years, Buzzworks has optimized this program again and again to make an excellent tool for any Online Poker Player! An optimal choice for both the beginner and the expert. For the beginner this tool offers easy to read statistically correct probabilities. Giving you a consistent reminder of what decision you should make for the hand. For the expert you can add plug-in's or even create your own with their optional developers pack!

In order to auto-read your cards - you must load the poker client through PokerPal itself. Which isn't that big of a problem, just a slight delay - that you may occasionally forget.

Similar to other odds calculators when an upgrade is available it must be manually applied.

This program continues to be valuable with every upgrade. Anytime a plug-in is available they add them in automatically. For instance it has a pot-odds calculator, statistics, charts as well as history.

Overall, Tips4Poker gives this tool a definite thumbs up. Try it out and T4P is willing to bet you'll end up buying this one! Even if this product wins you one pot an hour its worth its weight in gold!

Review:

PokerTracker is your best bet for a cheaper alternative to PokerOffice. As expected it has most major features of Poker Office - tracking ring games, tournaments, etc. Ability to import hand histories and play at multiple sites.

One feature that sets Poker Tracker apart from Poker Office is its ability to replay a hand using its Hand Replayer. A truly unique feature that gives you that optimistic second chance to play the "big" hand.

Like Poker Office, Poker Tracker collects so much statistics its enough to make your head hurt. BUT, its also plenty to help you find all the holes in your game. It practically slaps you in the face with your mistakes.

When it comes to advice and overall statistics - Poker Office still reigns king. However, don't by any means underestimate PokerTracker V2. This program is SOLID!

One final note about Poker Tracker is their ability to accept payment VIA Neteller. This might entice a lot of you who have Neteller accounts (almost every decent poker player has one) to purchase this product.

Poker Edge poses a valuable question, are you in POKEREDGE? Click here to find out. Scary thing, is its true! IF your name comes up -- they have stats on you. Don't believe me? Enter a random name, PoopyPants per say and see what comes up and then enter your name. If you play at PartyPoker, there's a good chance your tracked.

Being tracked isn't that bad. Most people, given this utility couldn't properly interpret the information that they are given. Additionally, the information that is given is often lacking.

Example: Looking up statistics on myself, I came across approximately 200tracked hands. Well, I've played probably a good 10,000 or so hands at PartyPoker. So they're missing just a tad bit of information about me and others.

However, conversely as they grow they learn more and this is definitely not a tool to be underestimated.

Tips For Poker's Suggestion : Try the 3day Trial Subscription. (if you don't like it, don't forget to cancel) And, if you can properly wield this tool. Keep it. If not, go back to Poker Office/Calculatem mighty Duo!

One last concern, if your paying for stats - what makes you think they aren't recording your stats or other valuable information well your paying? Its a catch 22.

PokerRoom.com has a marketing ploy, and that ploy is simple. Deposit $10 dollars or more and they will give you access to this Java Mobile Texas Hold'em client.

Let me tell you, although this program is WELL worth the money for the hours of fun it makes up for in meetings, class, and sitting in airports. It does have its limitations and problems.

Right after you download this little bugger to your cell-phone you will see the awesome potential this program has. You will wish you could play real money on it! However, you cannot. And, for the most part all you can do is play against the same (5) stupid characters who have the same betting strategy and are easily predictable.

The A.I. is virtually useless. Any decent poker player, playing this game for an hour can easily figure out exactly how the A.I. bets. So, by title, this is definately not a "Mobile Poker Trainer" but rather, a video game.

Take it for what it is. As a video game -- This is awesome. Download it and enjoy hours of phone fun.

Review:

PokerBot AKA Win HoldEm is perhaps the most confusing 3rd Party Poker Progam of all. This is definately not for amatuers or those easily distracted. A quality PokerBot (like any bot, or AI) takes time to put together.

Some (including this MSN article) claims its next to impossible to create a perfect PokerBot. Although this is correct, and humans will ultimately trick even the best of A.I.

Conversely, there are so many people "new" to poker and online-poker its so crazy that Pokerbots just might work.

The theory is that you can just give this bot money and let it run all day and make you money. Has anyone successfully done this? Not that we know of.

This utility is probably the most "shady" of all 3rd Party Programs, banned already in several poker rooms. If detected will permanantly remove your account. So your better off leaving this one alone. Unless your a curious bugger who doesn't care about his online poker accounts.

But, say if you were to purchase this shady tool. Lets talk features... It supports a "team liscense" which lets you run multiple copies of this alongside with multiple accounts where in theory you could run boiler rooms of 4 or more PokerBots working as a team to defeat anyone who came in. Sharing Info, Etc. But at $200 for a team liscense are you really going to try that out?

In theory, this program has alot of awesome features that should be explored but, in this case the negatives out weigh the positives. Steer clear of this program unless you really know what your doing.
